The Seto Inland Sea is a region known for its bountiful shrimp fishing.At autumn festivals meant to give thanks for plentiful harvests, after the ritual ceremonies, rice and dishes such as namasu (thinly sliced pickled vegetables) and shrimp MISO soup were served as local delicacies.
